I talk about using
AI for Good
ABOUT ME

Hello! My name is Vivien, and I’m an award-winning, Harvard-educated scientist and applied mathematician originally from Hungary. My research focuses on AI for Good, particularly at the intersection of AI and human behavior (motivation, creativity, overcoming adversity, social media impact) and AI for environmental and space sciences (satellites, oceans).
My mission is edutainment: using storytelling to educate and entertain both general and professional audiences. I’ve spoken at global stages including SXSW South by Southwest, and the United Nations' AI for Good conference, and have appeared in documentaries and interviews internationally - see full list below.
I bring a background in business strategy and data science. Regarding business strategy, I hold an MBA from Wharton, and previously worked at McKinsey, Google, and Bridgewater Associates. Regarding data science, I earned a Master’s in data science from Harvard, and have led award-winning and soon-to-be-published NASA research, serving as project lead, advisor, and speaker for both NASA and the United Nations. Beyond work, I’m passionate about exploring cultures: I speak 5 languages, have visited 80 countries, and lived in 10 countries across 5 continents. I'm also a lifelong athlete: I’ve run the San Francisco marathon and hold a Guinness World Record in long-distance cycling.

TESTIMONIALS
I would never supposed this was Vivien's first TV interview. Vivien was excellent: she knew exactly what she talked about, showed she had the proper expertise, had a natural presence, smiled, and had positive attitude.
- National TV host
I have seen a number of Vivien's speaking engagements and they are fantastic. I do not share this praise lightly as I have been fortunate to see some excellent speakers over my career. I really like how Vivien develop a story and share insights which continue to challenge the audience's preconceived perceptions.
